Introduction:

The Inbox Placement Score is a metric used to evaluate where your emails land when sent to different email service providers (ESPs). This score helps you understand how your emails are being received across various ESPs and identifies any deliverability issues.

How It Works:

  1. Email Sending: Users can test a particular email from any connected email account
  2. Internal Seed List: The system sends the email to a list of internally maintained email addresses from various ESPs.
  3. Inbox Checking: Upon receiving the email, the system checks where the email has landed for each email provider (spam or primary)
  4. Score Generation: Based on the results, the system generates an Inbox Placement Score (0-100%) indicating where your emails are landing for different email providers.

Importance of Inbox Placement Score:

  • Deliverability Insight: Provides insight into your email deliverability across different email providers

  • Issue Identification: Helps identify specific issues with particular ESPs.
  • Performance Monitoring: Enables you to monitor and improve your email deliverability over time.

Important Note: The Inbox placement score is a tentative method to gauge how likely your emails may land in primary or spam. It might not be accurate at times, which means your emails may still land in spam even if the score shows all are landing in the primary
