How to Use MailOptimal Lead Finder

MailOptimal’s Lead Finder helps you discover targeted, high-quality B2B prospects directly inside the platform. With access to a database of 700M+ professional profiles, you can search, filter, and build lead lists, find verified contact details, and move leads straight into your outreach campaigns.


🧭 Accessing Lead Finder

  1. Log in to your MailOptimal account.

  2. Click Lead Finder from the left-hand navigation.

  3. You’ll see two main sections: People and Saved.


🔎 Finding Leads (People Tab)

The People tab is where you search and explore new leads.

Search Results Overview

Search results are displayed in a table view, showing key details such as:

  • Name

  • Job Title

  • Company

  • Location

From this screen, you can review lead information, reveal contact details, or add leads directly to campaigns.


📧 Viewing Verified Email Addresses

Next to each lead in the results table, you’ll see a View Email button.

  • Clicking View Email reveals a verified email address for that lead

  • This ensures you’re working with high-quality, deliverability-safe contact data

  • Revealed emails can be used immediately in campaigns or exported as needed

💡 We strongly recommend verifying and warming up your email accounts before reaching out for best results.


📱 Phone Finder (Coming Soon)

We’re actively working on Phone Finder, which will allow you to discover phone numbers for leads directly within Lead Finder.

  • Phone numbers will be available alongside email details

  • This will enable true multi-channel outreach from a single platform

🎯 Filters & Search Options

MailOptimal lets you refine searches using multiple filters, including:

Role & Experience

  • Job Title

  • Department

  • Management Level

  • Years of Experience

Company Attributes

  • Company Name or Domain

  • Industry

  • Employee Count

  • Revenue

Location & Other Filters

  • Country, region, city

  • SIC / NAICS codes

  • Social profile links (e.g., LinkedIn)

Apply multiple filters together to create highly targeted lead lists.


💾 Saving Searches

  • Save frequently used filters for quick access

  • View saved searches in the Saved tab

  • Re-run searches anytime without rebuilding filters


➕ Adding Leads to Campaigns

Once you’ve selected your leads:

  1. Select one or more leads from the results

  2. Click Add to Campaign

  3. Choose the campaign you want to add them to

This removes the need for manual CSV exports and imports.


📌 Best Practices

  • Start with broader filters and narrow down gradually

  • Use View Email only for leads you plan to contact

  • Combine Lead Finder with Email Verification and Email Warmup for optimal deliverability

  • Always ensure compliance with applicable data privacy laws
